The Lyman Orchards Ladies Golf League on Tuesday's, Wednesday's and Thursday is the largest women's golf league in Connecticut welcoming both beginner and seasoned golf players.
Our Ladies Social Golf Leagues are designed to get beginners on the course with no pressure, while our Ladies Competitive Golf League is for the golfer who wants to challenge themselves in a more formal and competitive setting.
Choose from convenient schedule options including morning and evening time slots to fit your lifestyle. Ladies League 9-hole golf rounds are played on the Apple 9 Course, Jones Course, or Player Course depending on the league division, date, and time slot selected (see schedule below).

Our ladies' social division is designed to get beginner golfers on the course with no pressure on The Apple 9 Course. If you simply want to play golf but not turn in a score that is totally fine as we know many ladies simply want to play golf and not worry about winning.
New for 2025 is that the league will utilize the official USGA GHIN handicap system, the same system as the competitive division. Weekly prizes for net scoring and closest to the pin will be awarded. Times offered on Monday mornings and Monday afternoons.
Opening Day is scheduled for Monday April 28th, 2025.
Participants in social league must be able to play 9 holes within our pace-of-play policy at The Apple 9 (1 hour 45 mins).

The Ladies Golf League Competitive division is for the golfer who wants to challenge themselves in a more formal and competitive fashion. This 9-hole division takes place on The Apple 9/Jones/Player Courses Tuesday mornings (Apple 9), Tuesday evenings (Apple 9), Wednesday mornings (Jones/Player), Wednesday evenings (Jones/Player), Thursday mornings and Thursday evenings (Apple 9). Opening day is scheduled for Tuesday April 1st, 2025.
Features both gross and net scoring utilizing USGA GHIN handicap system. Features more payouts than social league.
Participants in competitive league must be able to play 9 holes within our pace-of-play policy at The Apple 9 (1 hour 45 mins) or Jones/Player (2 hours 15 mins) for 9 holes.
Since 2017, Lyman Orchards Golf Club has hosted the Putt Fore Pink Golf Classic in support of the Middlesex Health Comprehensive Breast Center for the prevention and treatment of breast cancer. Hundreds of women golfers come out to support this annual event which has raised thousands of dollars throughout the years.
Held in October during Breast Cancer Awareness month, this 9-hole golf event is played on the Robert Trent Jones and Gary Player Golf Courses at Lyman Orchards followed by a banquet and raffle.

Women’s Golf Day is an event celebrating girls and women playing golf and learning the skills that last a lifetime.
WGD is a collaborative effort by a dedicated team, golf management companies, retailers and organizations all working together to engage, empower and support girls and women through golf. The experience allows a simple and accessible platform to build a foundation and creates a network to support the continuation of golf no matter what skill level or interest while engaging them in a charitable cause with global impact from a local level.
Held traditionally on the first Tuesday of June, this 9-hole golf event is played on the Robert Trent Jones and Gary Player Golf Courses at Lyman Orchards followed by a banquet and raffle. The AM version kicks off at 10:00am with a shotgun start while the PM version at 5:30pm with the same shotgun start.
