The Lyman Orchards PGA Jr. League is the largest program in the Eastern Time Zone (2021 - 2024), and the 5th largest program in the U.S. (2024). The program provides youth ages 7-17 of all skill levels the experience of competing on golf teams in a fun scramble format.
Teams are split between two age divisions: 13U (ages 7-13) and 17U (ages 14-17). Participants receive golf instruction from our qualified staff of PGA & LPGA professionals during weekly practices. Each participant receives a home jersey, away jersey, official PGA Jr. League hat/visor, drawstring bag, and bag tag.
We offer Spring, Fall, and Winter (indoor) Sessions for each age division. Every child can be a golfer, and no prior golf experience is required to participate in the program. Registration is required to participate in the Lyman Orchards PGA Jr. League program.
Join the team, play with friends, and learn the game of golf with expert coaching! Questions? Contact Director of Golf John Dipollina, PGA at jdipollina@lymangolf.com.
NOTE: If child is/turns 14 prior to August 1st, 2025 they qualify for 17U (Spring Only)
Zoom meeting to introduce the program will be held in early April in preparation to season.
ZOOM MEETING - Spring 2024
We take pride in scheduling an abundant practice schedule to help your son/daughter improve through the spring. Practices (10 in spring) are optional but highly recommended. Practices are scheduled twice a week prior to the matches beginning. Once matches begin, practices will be reduced to once a week. Practices are approximately 90 minutes. All times will be posted in the PGA Jr. League app.
Matches (6) will be held on Sunday afternoons beginning April 27th. Exact match times will be posted the evening prior by the coaching staff. We ask all parents to RSVP to each match date well ahead of time so we the coaches can provide an exact time for your son/daughter to tee off. This will eliminate needless waiting around and allow your family to schedule accordingly. We will not have matches on Mother's or Father's Day. We will have a match scheduled for Memorial Day weekend.
All matches will be played on The Apple 9 Course. Based on ability levels/age, players will compete from different sets of tees. Tees will be decided by the coaches only.
Please email John Dipollina, PGA Director of Golf with any questions at jdipollina@lymangolf.com
